Annie holds the position of Regional Development Manager for Adit North and has enjoyed a varied career in both the public and private sectors. For the past two years, she has led the £9.5m procurement, installation and management of the NorthernNet project across the North of England

Her career developed through employment with Associated Octel, Shell Exploration & Production, Lloyds Register and Tees Valley Joint Strategy Unit, all in an ICT capacity. The latter, within the public sector, enabled considerable experience with all types of organisations, both public and private, from an economic regeneration perspective utilising ICT. Annie also gained knowledge and experience of European funding and has been a member of the European Regional Information Society for the past four years, attending conferences in Brussels gaining knowledge and best practice from across Europe. Annie also holds an Adult Teaching Certificate C&G 7307.

Annie is currently undertaking Prince II qualifications.

“I particularly enjoy identifying and analysing customer’s requirements to ensure best value and best practice” says Annie, who delivers a logical and strategic approach to problem solving in order to create positive relationships.

In her spare time, Annie enjoys spending time with her husband, family and three dogs and is never without a needlework project of some kind.
